Begun in 2010 when two ladies formed a duet to sing Louis Armstrong’s signature tune, What a Wonderful World, The Cherelles has grown into an ensemble of nine female voices that perform an eclectic mix of popular tunes from Broadway shows and Hollywood movies, as well as Folk, Rock and pop standards.
The group sings for the benefit of the Linwood Center, a leader in providing programs and services for children and adults living with autism and related disabilities. In a time when one in 88 children in our country lives with autism and the need for services and support has exploded, the Cherelles are proud that their efforts are helping to create the possibility of extraordinary lives for these families.
