Passing of Josephine Nacewicz

October 15, 2010

On October 12, 2010, Josephine Nacewicz passed away.  Jo was a member of Linwood’s board of directors for 32 years, retiring just a few months ago. Jo’s and Richard’s son, Matt, was a student in Linwood’s school program since the age of six years old. When he turned 21, he moved into Linwood’s very first adult home as one of the first three adults in our program. Now, at the age of 47, Matt continues to receive services from Linwood. He is a contributing member of his community, he is extremely happy and he plans to remain in Linwood’s program throughout his years. The Linwood family extends our condolences. Our hearts go out to Richard, Matt and the rest of their family. We will miss Jo.

The family asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Linwood Center, Inc., 3421 Martha Bush Dr., Ellicott City, MD 21043.
